I also ran them from January to April. We didn’t get much deep snow but what drifts we did get were effortless. The main issue I had always ice buildup as where it was used and stored had no heat or hot water

I just bought a 2018 P500 last week. I plan to keep the wheels on it but have experience with my 2006 Kawasaki Prairie 360 ATV with tracks. I Put tracks on it in 2018 to groom sled dog trails. I now have over 5000 miles use on them and never had any problems. They do cut the speed by about half. Take a lot of arm power to turn. The other machines we use for grooming are SkiDoo Skandic Super wide track snowmobiles. I have never been in a situation that I couldn't get out on my own but have pulled the snowmobiles out often. I pull a 4 foot wide groomer with 12 inch berm pads on each side. It takes a couple hours to switch from wheels to tracks so that machine will now be tracked all the time and the P500 used when I don't need tracks.

I guess I should have said that I have the Camso tracks. New enough here that I'm not sure if I should attach a picture of them on another brand machine. Been very happy with them. I think if I was putting them on the P500 that I would add power steering.

After spending much time near Mohawk MI between Dec 2019 and March 2020 I know several others who bought Camso tracks for their ATV and sxs. This rig did an excellent job grooming the sled dog trails in snow up to 12 feet deep. Picture taken back at home in January 2021 when we didn't get to spend much time in the UP because of covid.
