P500 P520 Horsepower?

Just curious: does anyone know the Horsepower spec for the Honda P520? I've heard someone say it's around 30 HP, but have been unable to confirm that.

I had considered the Kubota 520 before settling on the Honda P520. I don't need to go fast, but at 17.4 HP, that Kubota seems a little on the anemic side.

Nope! It's Hamster, not Gerbil.

I had a Dodge Colt once that was Gerbil powered.

It's close to 29 and it is geared really low. I run 28-inch tires in the sand washes and have 32's on the back for a top speed of 50 for the truck trails and desert roads. I only use 2WD with the 32's.

do you know the color of the Honda so we get the HP correct?

Yeah, I was looking for a red one when I was shopping - more for the better visibility when working in the woods than the widely acclaimed higher speed.

I never came across an official spec on the P5/5.2, I did find an article that gave hp #'s for the Foreman with these power plants, both were right around 28 & 29hp respectively

The blue is better for that! GO BLUE!

Thats why I use blue flagging tape when marking trails . Easier to pick out in the woods. At least for me
