Why does the 500 have the paddle shift, but you can't get it for the 700? Sure seems like it would be handy! Can you install one later??

It has been discussed.... But straight up it want work. Will require a lot of modification.
The 700 shift is controlled by 3 solenoids. Closing and opening them makes it shift.
Theory is to tap into that and control them somehow while keeping the computer "happy".
Don't think anyone has tried it.
One guy tried to wire a Rincon computer to this Big Red. I think he gave up.

Far from. 500 is based off Foreman engine. 700 is based off Rincon engine.
