Seeing that the dash is all black and its hard to see the lettering I painted it today. It's easy to see all the shift points now. :D
I bought one of those paint pens.looks like a felt pen but has actual paint.

Looks good.

What is the gadget you have mounted above that area? You can just see the bottom of it.

I did my dash lettering in bright yellow the day I got my pioneer home. I backed into my garage work bench twice trying to pull out of the garage. Pushing the lever forward should by drive not reverse......Lol

I also painted the Honda writing in the center of the steering wheel cap as well.It was a bit tricky because the letters are recessed. First I removed the cap so it would be easier to work on. Using the same paint marker I painted the letters and as soon as I was done I used a paper towel to remove the paint that wasn't in the indent of the letters. I probably had to do that a few times because some of the paint would come away when I wiped the excess off. In the end it looks just as good as the other painted letters.

What did you use to block the holes behind the shifters? I was thinking about just using some inner tube rubber. Thanks, Dale

@slowdryrider I snagged one of those paint pens the other day. Did you scuff the #'s or clean 'em with something before you painted them?

Crap.. this is an old thread! LOL!

Use an alcohol pad to clean. Or a packaged glass cleaner before painting.
