Guys has anyone converted their bed to a 5 seater from parts from factory I know guys have found used beds and swapped with each other but havent found anything close to that local. So im looking buying the parts from Honda. Apparently there is more to it then just a bed. I guess its got the base the bed, the seats, ect ect it goes on and on. Please help if you've done this or know someone along the east coast that wants a 3 seat bed.

If you can’t find the parts in trade, it’s cheaper to trade the pioneer to a dealer for a 5 seater.

The frame itself is almost $800, the seat frames are $140 a piece, by the time you get all the fasteners, plastics, and seats you'll be way better off just trading the whole unit for a 5 seater.

Out of curiosity, why? If you want people in the back be forewarned: it sucks big time! It's a million degrees back there and the seats are substandard. Factor in the dust too, the larger roof is a backdraft for negative air to flow to the back seats.

Just skip the awful rear 5 seater bed and just install a bench seat in your current 3 seater bed. Buy the "Foot" floorboard of the 5 Seater and cut and modify your bed so the passengers leg dangle. If you need to have a full bed, you can install a "3 seater bed liner" and some strategic placement of some removable supports you will have a full bed when you need it.

Here's some photos from the build. The seat is a twisted x rear bench for a rzr 1000. After building the setup I found out the teryx4 had a option for a larger rear bench which would fill the bed a lot more. The rzr seat is fine for little butts but once they get bigger I imagine they will start complaining.

Do you have more pictures of how the seats are mounted? And what brand of seats are these?

Its a Honda you don't need to check the oil, but seriously I can just reach in there and check it no problem. If I'm doing a full service I remove the tire and just get it done. Sometimes I remove the bed, takes about 15 minutes.

I have got to ask, how in the sam hell do you check/change your oil?

Ok. I have a hard time changing the air filter and checking oil and such with the bed up. I bet it would really be hard with it down.
