I thought that was snow in that picture but I was afraid to ask. Didn't wanna look like a dumbass asking if that was snow on The 1st of Sept. LolI’m hearing that you guys got some snow on top of some of those mountains.

It was quite low. But, there’s a memorial to a woman that died doing it last spring....☹️How was the Pole Creek crossing on the east side of Stoney Pass? I've been across that when it was butt-puckering high and fast.

My dad would have the same praise for the Model T, and A....Don't laugh. My father was raised in Aztec, NM (just over the border from Durango). His dad had a tomato cannery and they used to go over Wolf Creek Pass to the San Luis Valley around Alamosa to haul tomatoes back to Aztec. They did this before that pass was paved and using a Model T pickup. He used to tells stories about having to back over portions of it, presumably to get better traction.

lol...
Gosh I wish was there this year, things just didn't work out.lol...
Thanks for getting us started there Dave.
hahaha.
Sorry. Missed yours.
Hmmm...think I've heard stories about backing model "T's" before. Was it because reverse was lower geared and would pull where 1st wouldn't? Kinda like a 700...Don't laugh.
