Plastidip would be your best option you can change colors often as you like. My wife has a black Kia soul I plastidipped parts in plum crazy purple to make it unique. The front, gas door, rear bubble and Soul on the front fender both sides took me just over 1 rattle can it looks good she gets asked who did it all the time even the dealer asked who sprayed it they were impressed.

Less than $900 on babbitts. Find a 10% discount code and then its around $800.

You are just wanting t change the color?
Where did you get this quote from?
That is the price for the painted Gray plastics of an LE, the price for the regular Gray plastic of the 2016 Deluxe is only $220

$220??? You mean for just the fender? And there is no grey 1000-3 so the bed panels would be an issue.

Wow, I never would have believed that had I not just looked it up. Still doesn't help OP tho as he has a 1000-3. At that price he could swap the bed as well and still be cheaper than the 1000-3 LE plastics lol.

Plastidip is the economical option. 30$ should get all the plastics and you have color choices.

Hydro dip is usually pretty pricey and can scratch off if not done well.. I'd wrap it or buy different plastic. Just my 2 cents

oh yeah about the only thing that ever comes off is when my passenger side door gets ripped off skidding on my side on rocks... then you just order a small repair kit for 20 bucks if it does come off. Just gotta make sure you prep that plastic correctly.
