P1000 Poll - Pioneer 1000 owners interest for R2C air filter

This poll will provide feedback to the manufacturer for justifying production of an R2C air filter for the Pioneer 1000.

Projected air filter cost would be similar to the Talon at around $125 for a kit that includes mounting flange hardware. Air flow would increase by a factor of about 2.5. Filtration down to 0.3 micron particle size. Filter is synthetic media, cleanable and reusable.

The poll will be open for 7 days. Thank you to everyone who participates.

Filter will be a similar design to this Talon filter.

Manufactured in Mundelein, Illinois, a suburb area of Chicago.

There is no denying the company had some issues a few years ago. That period of time was between me buying two RZR 800 filters and deciding to become a dealer. I've been a dealer since April of 2019 and have had no problems with the company delivering products. I'm not sure what the problem was but they seem to have overcome it and have been consistently expanding their ATV/UTV products over the last year. Hope this helps.

The latest word from R2C today is that the Pioneer 1000 filter will begin production next week. I've put my name on a case of 10 and will get listed on my website this week for anyone who wants to preorder. These will probably sell quickly since the only other aftermarket option that I know of is a K&N.

These will fit 2016-2021 model Pioneer 1000, replacing OEM part # 17215-HL4-A02.

Unfortunately it looks like they will be a week late for me to bring along to the Pioneer Takeover this year.

Yes. This fits all Pioneer 1000 and 1000-5 models, 2016-2021.

I listed on my website for pre-orders if anyone is interested. I'm getting a case of 10 as soon as they are available. If these are like the Talon filters they will constantly sell out.

Looks good on paper. Being new to the SxS community I was unaware the OEM air filter was so poorly engineered. I'm definitely interested in any mods that improve the life of our buggies

Ive never had dirt get past my oem filter. I don't believe that they allow dust into the engine. They are however very restrictive even brand new. Ill probably bite when my oem filter is plugged again

Never had dirt get past my OEM filter or my K&N.

(Talon locker will not work in Pioneer)

Sent R2C an order and shipping label for 10 Pioneer 1000 air filters today. They should ship by end of this week so I'll have them middle week of June 28. If you want to pre-order through my website you may and I'll in turn ship them out as soon as I get them myself.

I'm looking forward to these for the P1000 owners out there (I don't own one). Sales of the Talon air filters have been through the roof since day 1. I can't keep them in stock!

PS. I'll also be taking better product pics once I have a filter in hand.

Thanks for the order. Talked to R2C yesterday and they said they will begin shipping pioneer filters today. So I should have my stock next week to begin shipping out to customers.

If anyone wants to place an order, I spoke with R2C and they can dropship from the warehouse for me. Filters are ready to ship now. If you're in a rush, I can have these shipped before I receive my stocking order.

Shipped the first ones out this week so no end user feedback yet. These few shipped from the factory for me since I do not have my stocking order yet. Hoping for stock next week. If these sell like talon filters it will be difficult to keep up with demand.

The YouTube video for the Talon filters says they are non oiled. Just wash and dry

No R2C filter is oiled. They are all dry synthetic media. Easy to maintain. They ship with cleaning instructions for blowing with air or soaking then drying.
