It's not faster it's simply less slowAbsolutely!
It's also the driver! Who has the most courage pushing the skinny peddle. Not just on a flat gravel road, but when there is some risk involved. That's when the white ones are the fastest. It's not faster it's simply less slow
Only up hill..Somebody said the -3 is faster than the -5...................too!
She's pretty naked Monte! Looks good but time to do some of your famous wiring
Yep, in the last picture you see those boxes in the bed of the truck? That's roof and windshield for starters. The winch is already here. The Mystic switch panel arrived this week, I still haven't seen the chicken lights from mopar yet, the 40" light bar is here and a few other incidentals. I'm assuming that there's a Honda wiring harness available for this like there is for the other two? She's pretty naked Monte! Looks good but time to do some of your famous wiring
Wiring harness for what exactly? You mean like the accessory plug/back up alarm on the p500?Honda wiring harness for the P1K???
Looks great Monte....congratulations of the new addition to the family.Just the standard keyed accessory harness like we all put on our P5's.
Thank you buddy, I'm looking forward to it.Looks great Monte....congratulations of the new addition to the family.
Happy trails my friend.
I asked this very question thinking the same thing as you.Just the standard keyed accessory harness like we all put on our P5's.
I've actually got a few of those left over from a project on my boat a while back. That's not exactly what I had in mind, but thank you for the offer. Sounds like there is no keyed power accessory harness for the P1K. I intend on doing a dual battery install which will give me another 6-8 position distribution which will provide what I need if I can't have keyed power.I asked this very question thinking the same thing as you.
CP suggested going this route. It just plugs into the factory fuse panel under the hood.. it's actually marked accessory. I'll be starting on mine this week. Shoot me your address and I'll mail you one.

Ain't it a great feeling, Great ride
I have used those on case and john deere backhoes to add aditional lighting. And have seen more than a few wiggle loose from their teminals. Its not a big deal to use a little pocket screw driver on the the teminals in the fuse block to add a little extra preload to the fuse. Its has only happened on the off road equipment. I think its something to do with the bone jaring bump they see. But still not that much more than what your pionier will seeI asked this very question thinking the same thing as you.

It's definitely between the P1K and the P5. But honestly, they are so different and have such separate utility and purpose it's really not right to compare them side by side. It's very relevant to what you're doing. It's like asking what do you like better, a 22 rifle or a 308. The answer is going to be met with a question, am I shooting a mule deer or a squirrel.Sonuva.
You da man!!!
Congrats.
I'll be checking back with you to see which you've chosen as the winner!
