Was driving my trails in the woods yesterday. Got concerned about poking a hole in the radiator. Not much protection without a winch installed there. Need to do something before long in this department....as it appears the radiator is quite vulnerable when riding in brush....IMO.

A buddy of mine has a Rzr900. Rocks from his tires kicked up and were able to contact the rear of his radiator! He didn't notice this until he was 25 kms back in the bush. When the radiator finally went is said it drained quick. He has a little water bottle him so filled up in puddles every 5 minutes or so. Said it was an awful ride out. $350 for an after-market rad. He's adding guards to avoid a second rad perforation.

I looked through the wheel wells of my P5 and have a good view of the back of the rad. I think Honda has designed things to avoid this sort of damage.

I agree, I am running the StrongMade front bumper with top mounted winch on both my P500 and P1000-5D, both have proven very durable dealing with dead limbs and small trees while protecting the front end.
