P700 Rear Brake

I took the rear brake assembly off the rotor, I was not sure how to remove the pads so I would just push the pads to either side and clean the mud etc out from behind the pads and then push back to their original locations. I sprayed it out with air and brake clean. When I went to reinstall the pads are now pushed tighter onto the rotor then when I took it off and are now heavily dragging. How do I back the brakes off so they are not dragging?

The piston on the rear has to be turned back in due to the parking brake assembly. Turn it back In some (sounds like you might have accidentally hit the parking brake lever on the caliper). If there are slots on the piston, make sure that line up with the little pegs on the pad itself.
You can do this with needle nose pliers in the slots if the caliper isn't too sticky, but there are also tools that make this easier.

Also, make sure the slides are moving freely.
