Check out Texas Tough Customs. They have a rear bumper thats frame mount and you can put a winch on it if you want to. I have one of their front winch bumpers and it is super heavy duty. TTC Rear Winch Bumper (Bare Metal) | Texas Tough Customs

I’ve been very happy with this bumper. Was a bit of a challenge getting everything to line up for the install but is solid as a rock

any thoughts comparing between the two are appreciated.
want a reasonably durable bumper but if i'm pulling out of a hole, i'll be running off the receiver.

I have the tuber bumper. It works well with my rear winch and HMF muffler. It does stick out to the full width of the roll cage and I have bent one side backing into stuff

I do like it as a strap storage spot. I only use the hitch for recovery

Yes other than breaking the weld nut off the cage mount and having to weld a new nut into the back of the frame.

The nuts are welded into the end of the frame on 2 sides and likely are intended to be removed several times. The bolt was tight coming out likely from corrosion and the weld broke. I fished it out with a magnet and then drilled and oversized hole for a flange nut and welded the new nut in. Not perfect but not accessible another way
