Update: just left the dealer and service rep was there yesterday and said parts should be shipping out the end of this week. Service manager thinks next week is probably when they will actually receive them.

Just got off the phone with Honda. He said the parts are made but unsure when they will be shipped. It looks like the whole peddle will be replaced because of the berings. Honda estimates .9 hour to install. So almost hour.

@HondaTech question for you.
How does the stop sale affect servicing existing customer units?
If someone has theirs in for an oil change, can you release it back to them while the stop sale is in effect? Or do you have to hold it hostage until it is fixed?

I took mine in for the ECM flash. I went to Honda of Marysville which is a powerhouse dealer. They had the stop sale tags on all of their 1000's, but said nothing about mine. I told them I lubricate the pedal pivot after cleaning. They said I could bring it back to them whenever they get the parts, but they wouldn't/ couldn't confiscate my machine. FWIW.
Unfortunately I missed my chance to see their talons. Both had been picked up the day before.

I don't have pedals, HA! I thought it was an issue at the throttle body! Maybe everyone's installing the e brake on the wrong petal, HA!

I bet if you moved the shock mounts out farther than lowered the ones on the frame that thing would handle awesome. That's if it doesn't handle well already

Just to tease myself I went at looked at my 2018 the other day. My dealer said I lucked out because it shipped before the stop sale. Because I guess Honda won't let any machines leave the wearhouse unless fixed would come mean months of waiting.
