Recommendations for Appleton / Green Bay Area?

Hello all,

I have to travel for work the last week of October and was considering bringing my TH and my P1k5.

Is there any places in the Appleton / GB area in where I could spend a week with my TH and still be able to ride trails?

My P1k5 is licensed in S.D. and has mirrors and turn signals.

There's trails within an hr. But time is of the essence due to deer hunting. @ToddACimer lives in the area.

Yeah I found the Onconto trails. Looks like a nice campground in the area too. Only issue is it would be a 140 mi jog to and from work every day.

I noticed the end of October closings. I figured it had something to do with deer hunting as you mentioned.

Oconto county and Langlade County are definitely the closest places. Might be worth camping in Oshkosh during the week and heading up north on the weekends. Most camping locations have 100-150 miles of trails in the surrounding area so you might be able to hit up 2 or 3 different camp grounds and see more.

If you went 140 mph it would only take you an hour to get there.........

The Oconto trails are really nice. Hopefully you can at least get up one weekend and ride.

70 mi each way....not sure my truck make the corner at 140 mph.....😎

I’m figuring yet...I may just stay at the trails for the WE.
