I thought Moscow was home of the Aryan Nation skin head White Nationalists, I would never have thought of that area as liberal, or was that Hayden. Anyway, what’s the fire danger in that region like, have you had rain??
Hayden but now the compound is a county park

My hometown is Moscow, ID. Born and raised there. Home of the University of Idaho and the most liberal town in Idaho. I now live 15 miles away in Palouse. Pullman, WA is also 15 miles away, home to Washington State University, and the only area that votes Democratic on the Eastern side of Washington.

When I moved here five years ago, there were two gun shops in the Pullman area and the Ace hardware had a gun counter. Moscow had three places that sold firearms.

Today, Pullman has zero gun stores but five pot shops (marijuana is now legal in Washington). There is only one FFL in the entire county; a county deputy that sells guns out of his basement. Soon, I'll be driving 60 miles to Spokane to buy a gun.

Moscow now only has two places to buy guns; both sporting goods stores and not traditional gun shops. My dad owned THE place to buy guns and fishing supplies for nearly 40 years; The Husky Sport Shop.

He owned three of them at one time in the 80's. Sold off his last one in 2004 or so. Now an Autozone sits there...

I've been in the big outdoor store in Moscow. I thought I had left a rod and reel at a campsite not realizing it was stuffed down deep in the hold of my kayak so I went there to get a new one.

Do you haul your kayak on your S x S or pull a small trailer with your S x S to transport to remote areas? The wife and I have Hobbie's and there great to fish out of, leaves your hands free. I think it would be a blast to probably trailer them with S x S to very remote lakes.

My FeelFree Lure 13.5 just won't fit on my trailer let alone with the P5. For the time being, I'm just leaving it at home until I get a larger trailer or toy hauler. AS far as toting it around on the roof of the P5, I don't think that'll happen due do it being 100+lbs

It weighs 95lbs with just the boat and seat, but then add the stand up bar, fish finder gear, trolling motor and battery...

At this point, I think I'd rather have a short portage canoe so I can bring me dog or a friend.

Hayden is where Richard Butler and his band of Californians moved to in the 80's to start their crap.

The incorrect stigma that Idahoans are racist still plagues the state.

Randy Weaver was labeled as racist as well, but he moved to his remote cabin from Iowa.

All the infamous racists and whackos are imports. Natives are fairly normal and decent people.

Like I said; Moscow is the most liberal town in Idaho...

I used to have a Dagger Blackwater kayak that was a blast, but not much fun to fish out of.

Then my brother bought one of those inflatable pontoon boats for $300 from Costco and swore it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I sold my kayak for $300 and bought one.

I absolutely love it! 100 times more comfortable and easier to use than a kayak. I've had mine for 4 years now and it has held up well. Plus, it breaks apart for transport with quick release pins. I have no doubt I could pack it on the back of my P5 to a remote lake, then reassemble and pump up the pontoons and be ready to go.

My favorite thing to do is to go up the Coeur D'Alene river about 25 miles off the highway and float for about 5 miles and catch cutthroat trout all day.

Are they really abandoned or just out of service? Abandoned lines usually get the track removed.
There are clubs across the country that tour the various track systems. Not all rails have been removed. There's one here in Asheville
