Well, the day has finally come. I got a Talon! It been a long time coming. Ive been after one for a long time since they came out. My truck is pd off and I cant get a new truck cuz of availability for my needs so I searched and searched for a Talon! I wanted a live valve 2 seater in the worst way. See, its not for the live valve, it was for the color. Im attracted to shiny objects lol. I wanted the white with blue but impossible to fine right now unless you want to really over pay. Im not patient by any means just ask my wife lol.
Speaking of the wife, what pushed her over the edge for the talon was when @Tramguage1 was at our cabin last month and she finally drive one. Sweet ride Tram has.

So just about 2 weeks ago one of my good friends @joeymt33 came across a neighbor of his that had this talon for sale (longer story) and at a good price. Needless to say this intrigued my interest. Thought it was Red in the pics, but it was Orange! Even better! One of my other favorite Talon colors. Needless to say with Joey’s help, I was able to purchase the 21’ Talon X 2 seater and it only has 380 miles, SATV flip windshield, Swamp donkey stereo, 31’ carnivore’s and a neat windscreen flag for the rear that was calling my name. It was delivered finally last night by joey when he was up here for work. My wife and I took him to dinner and I got him a few bottles of Michigan Whisky for what hes done and for that i was very grateful. Oh, and special thanks to @snuffnwhisky for going through it for me as well. He got some whisky too if Joey dosnt drink it before hand lol. All Hail the HFA!

Now that my rambling has put you all to sleep, I give u the new addition to the Remi Family of Honda’s stable……
PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN!

Thanks, looks very similar to how I mounted mine
The only $hitty part being this way is the angle. They a slightly back instead of straight up with full adjustment to both. I can live with it tho. Couldnt find a good bracket to correct that. One nice thing is the laser mounting bracket can pivot.

I'd cut a relief in that bed plastic or the rear quarter panel where your wire is going in so it doesn't get pinched/cut if you put that into a bank/rock. If it's not a b**** to do now that you've run it, I'd tuck the wire along the inside of the ROPS where it's already got a relief cut for the bar.

Im gonna cut a spot there. My wire runs between the MB’rs and the factory fender zip tied to the factory wiring under there then back up the wiring above the air filter nice neat and tidy. Seemed to work well without issues the last few years with the whips. But deff will be cutting a relief for the wire.

So I installed some new fans to help with air with the glass windshield when going slow or rock crawling and such. Had some cheesy suction cup ones. Didnt do $hit. @snuffnwhisky had these Turbos on his rig and they moved some air so I got some and mounted them for easy removal when I dont need them. Worked out well. Also finished my new radio i the Swamp Donkey. Juat waiting on new 4 point lap belts cuz my my old ones wont sinch tight i ln the lap anymore. Then im done and ready for Memorial Day at the cabin then TO.

That photo made me wonder - on a hot day, it's my feet and legs that get cooked; I'm wondering if pointing those fans down to displace the hot air below the dash would be more effective? You wouldn't get the blast of air across your body but it's the heat below the 'gunwales' that cooks me, especially when I had door lowers. fwiw: I don't have lowers anymore.

eta: I have the SATV flip up windshield, and unless it's raining or cold (rarely), it's always up.

It’s possible it might work for you that way. When I had the other fans, it helped having it blown towards my chest.

Howdy folks. Did a few needed things to the Talon today. Well …one thing today, another a few weeks ago.
I put a set of 1’ whips on to go with the lazers.
The wife says “what do u mean the lazers only work well after dark😡” 🤣 ooook….so here are some whips. But they are shorter so I dont have to remove them going into the TH or the inclosed. These also work with my turn signals and brake lights like my last ones. I found them on line and cant remember the name? But they were 1/2 the price of the 51/50’s I had before that didbt last more than 2yrs so we will see.
Also called RC cuz one if the lazers got moisture in it. They were great and sent a new set bi questions asked.

I got new skins and wheels today🥳
Well not really but it feels like new! I was going to put my new set of carnivores Ive had in my barn on my Talon wheels for when my other ones That are now waring down where ready. I had brought my P1 back from the cabin for some “going through” I decided to take the wheels off of that, clean them up and put them on the Talon. If u all remember my P1 has LT/MT tires. I must say the change looks good. Will find out this weekend how they preform? They are the same size as the carnivore, and same MSA wheel different color, I weighed them and the carnivore set are 53.8 lbs ea and the LT set came in at 55.2 lbs ea. not much difference at all.
Heres a a pic

New mirrors. I had to modify them from the pervious set. Still used the brackets I made for the soft doors. These are a touch bigger and look better IMO
