Remington submitted a new Garage Item:

Remmy's Stroker 30 Build
And Other Bs!

Sorry for the late build fellas. I must say with work, honey do's and owning a cabin that like another house, it take up a lot of your time! Now that bow hunting season is upon us, more time will be taken up in a good way
This all started when I wanted a SXS to go along with my 2 ATV's and my property/cabin in the great northern woods of northern lower Michigan. There we have some nice trails outside my cabin door. The other was for hunting and general work around the cabin and home. I owned a nice 02' jeep TJ that I fixed up and never really used it that much not to mention the insurance sucks on those! So I convicted my wife of 16 yrs if I sold it I could get a SXS. Now I've owned Polaris ATV's for sometime, and a 2000 Honda Forman that the wife drives. After selling the jeep, I went to looking for a SXS. I wanted a Polaris general, needless to say, nice seats but wasn't impressed. Then I got into a P100-5 and WOW!! I was hooked, and so begins this Journey.

She looked like this when I found her! Needed some wheels

Then we took it to our cabin on Memorial Day with some close friends and there kids. See my wife and I don't have any kids, well.. We Are unable too! So our friends kids, niece's and nephews think we're the best Aunt and uncle in the world because of the toys and things we have. Were able to have more free time for stuff and so forth, so we love to have people that can't have what we have enjoy it. OK enough of the mushy crap let's get back to the build.
Here's a pic of all of us on memorial day. My God it was hot and humid! So I got tired of my wife complaining about the heat so I ordered a top.7afff10b4b08806d609cf336a3bc3b56

Here's the bamini top I ordered! Was cheeper! And a royal pain in the ass! Every time you trailered your SXS you had to take it off and put it back on. That's a big NOPE! Did this 2 times and said your going on Ebay! Then the hard top went on order! Thats what I get for being a cheep ass! Hahaha

Yes indeed! Hard top installed! But not before a super ATV windshield that about ruined the whole front of the SXS by coming loose with the clamps being out of speck from factory. I won't bore you with that rant. It's well documented in another thread.

Honda hard coat flip windshield installed. Fantastic and love it! Takes a bit of time to get your likings on the air you would like, but the clamps and the sturdiness of this windshield is far better than what I had before.

Your probably wondering where the Stroker 30 name came from? It's a long story and it's not what you think! Haha. It's a name I got when I was playing Baseball and my buddy's made me a custom license plate that said Stroker 30 on it. It was time to pass that name down! So poor old greeny got it!

Installed a bunch of this stuff to a few weeks ago on all plastic! I'll say it worked well and a notable difference in heat and noise reduction

Thought I'd make the indicators easier to see as tonight's job,but all the material to put on them I thought would ware off in time possibly. Then a thought came to mind when I was playing baseball I use to use some white fingernail polish on my fingers for giving signs mostly at night games.(Yes I was a catcher) but my pitchers said the polish would ware off sometimes mid game. So I went to a halloween costume store and got some white nail polish with hardening agent , worked well. Grabbed it out of my equipment bag and it was still good! Will see how this holds up.

I haven't tried reversing it yet. I had it hooked up basic with a on off switch before, worked great. I'm currently wiring an integrated switch panel for the accessories. Then I'll try it in reverse. I don't see a problem with doing that and some round sofit vents in the foot wall. There's a thread on those vents and going in reverse with the fan. I'll keep you posted when I try it.
