Well it seems to work better with out.I guess my half ass insulation must work pretty good helps in the summer but in the winter i will take the heat.

@trigger has an awesome product. When I had machine my biggest issue was aligning bolts back into backrest. Then the metal nuts all got pushed out of the plastic holders in backrest causing a major PIA.
