P500 Rolling 500 with sharp turns

Man this is the third time my pioneer has started coming off the ground on a turn and this time she finally went all the way. Lucky no one was injured and not a crack or dent in the p500. Seems like these roll pretty easy.

I'm glad no one was hurt first of all. Second, those P500's are tough.

They do seem tippy with the short travel and narrow stance.

I don't remember there being any steak but there were a (3or4) 700's that were on their side at the spring ride. The 500's never did, granted there were only 3 of them to the (17) 700s.

Think it also comes down to how "spirited" of a driver you are as to whether you utilize the rollcage.

The rolling is a given in my opinion considering the 50 inch width. I put 1.5 inch wheel spacers on mine with stock tires and this is still a issue. You really have to take it easy or widen the tires, the center of gravity it to high and this machine is not made to rail corners fast. Good luck and drive safe.

As already stated, it is only 50" wide and has a higher COG than an ATV, additionally it is a recreational / utility oriented SxS not a high HP 64" wide sport oriented drift king. Add 10"-14" of width it won't roll nearly as easy just like all the other 60"+ models. A P500 gets its speed through the tight trees and trails not in the open high speed corners.

There may be another explanation.
Possibly it could be superior driver skill (yea right).
Or it could be that none of the P500 pilots wanted to go home and explain to their ‘boss’ why they scratched their new toy.
Need to get a few payments in before that goes over (if ever).
Personally (as one of the P500 drivers at the spring meet) I’m going with the second one.

I think the basic tippyness (height of the CG relative to the track width) is about the same for the P700 and the P500.
The difference is the scale factor in the terrain.
A hole or bump has a greater effect on the narrow track of the P500 than the P700.
Just a thought…
