Hell if I flew across the country to ride I wouldn't be standing around taking many pictures either, especially with an opportunity to tear it up with Snuffs rig!
Reality check, for all you would be horsepower warriors. There is nothing you can do to the P1K engine / powertrain modification wise that will make one iota of difference in trails like this in a group ride.
1. If your motor won't run reliably and keep dying up the hill because the power commander wonks out, killing engine under high load. 1000 hp is useless in a dead engine.
2. Loud exhaust is just that despite the seat of the pants feeling you get, it's just more noise for everyone around you to listen to all day.
3. If your in line with the group, that power is useless as you sit waiting for the guys in front of you who may or may not know how to negotiate an obstacle. No time gained.
4. If your near the front of the line, you sit and wait for the guys behind you who may not know how to negotiate an obstacle. No time gained.
5. Your machine isn't 100% reliably everybody waits on you trying to help work out the issue.
This is simply an observation after several years of group rides, not just with Hondas. Just hoping some of this info can help prevent "fixing it until it breaks" seen this happen to many of otherwise reliable ATV & SXS.
If you run A-a rms high clearance, and or with lift, and no steering stops. The steering stop is in the drivers seat, not knowing the CV joint limits will garner you broken axle or CV joints, they flex only so far, exceed that in rough terrain you will be let down.
