Has anyone put their machine on the scales to see the weight balance? I feel the machine is bias to the rear in -5 trim. Thoughts??

+1 I'd like to know weight distribution on a 1000-5 if anyone has ever put one on a scale that'll record axles independently. I had to kinda guesstimate the weight distribution when I built my trailer... which then involved chopping off the hangers and relocating the axle because I had too much tongue weight. Even better, I'd like to know weight distribution with about 500 lbs of cargo in the back, since I frequently haul my Pioneer loaded with a bed full of forestry equipment, firewood, jerry cans, or anything else heavy that I can take out of my tow-vehicle. It makes a lot of difference; never jumped it, don't plan to.

I have a 3 seat and the center of weight is behind the seat. More so with a 5 seater. When I load it on my 10ft tilt deck trailer its obvious more weight is behind my seat than in front and that's including my ass in the seat.

That's exactly where I placed the rear axle on my trailer - just aft of the front seat backs. With the bed heavily loaded, the tongue weight seems about perfect; I'd guess 15%, but I haven't weighed that either. The trailer handles as well as I could have hoped at high and low towing speeds, curvy roads, and rugged trails.

Mines a SPORT SxS more then a Utility :p

mine will be after i install the rzr seats and elka's,but until then it's my utility machine.always dirty, always slightly lacking in suspension,a little too wide for my favourite trails and fun as hell no matter what i'm doing with it.

Got the pioneer scheduled to be weighed. So we will know here soon. My numbers won't be stock pioneer numbers, as Ive installed a new aftermarket cage, 3 seater bed and a bench seat mounted in the bed. The main reason Im doing this is when I add stuff to the machine I want it to be fairly balanced. maybe 60/40 split. Maybe even 50/50 split from Left to Right. Maybe I have ADD and just need to know lol.
