Sorry but trying to sort through the old threads gets confusing sometimes.

Okay 2021 1000-5 Deluxe and I want to get some road friendly tires and rims. Do we have a guide as to what will work without rubbing and gearing issues? I feel the machine could use a little more top end on road and fire-road type terrain so I was planning on a slightly taller tire.

Currently (for reference) 27 x 11 x 14 rear, 27 x 9 x 14 front right? Can we use car tires on these things?

There's no reason you can't use car tires but the challenge is to identify car tires in sizes similar to the original that fit your wheels..

I've thought about car or light truck tires also. I drive my P1000-3 on paved roads or dirt, not trails, mud, rocks, or sand. I get tired of the roar of aggressive off-road tires.

Im looking for quiet Street tires to fit original custom stock wheels...any suggestions?
Not the stock wheels.
The rears are too wide and id go with 15’s if possible. I have 15” with 30” LT tires but the same size all the way around. You want to be able to rotate them as well

Kanati Mongrels or Tusk Terribites. The Mongrels are 10ply and have harder rubber compound and the Terribites have slightly more tread void with a slightly softer compound.

I have the Kanati Mongrels on my 1000-3 and really like them

I want to possibly do the same thing on mine when the time comes. I want to keep stock wheels, and mount the 14 inch General Grabbers. Same size tire front and back, but on the different width stock tires. I know they only rotate left to right to change direction, but that's all I want anyway. I do not like the idea of getting different wheels, and if I did I would stay with 14 inchers.

I like that this tire is almost the stock size, 27 high and 8.5 inches wide. I think the only challenge would be mounting them on the 11 inch width rear wheels. But this is seriously what I would like to put on for the amount of road riding I do.

I'm interested in General Grabbers also on factory P1K Deluxe 14" wheels. The 27 x 8.5 x 14 seems too narrow for the rear wheels.

Has anyone mounted the General Grabber 27 x 8.5 x 14s on OEM Honda wheels?

ok,i have to say it.does a quiet tire on a pioneer really make any difference?
Good question...anyone have gone there? And how did it turn out???
For fucs sake! Yes! Or @BWAF myself and others wouldn't have ben running them the last 3 years hard on pavement, blacktop, dirt roads, mud, rock and still have more than 1/2 the tread left. They make the sxs stable on the road like a car/truck and depending on the trad pattern like your car or tuck, there quiet! Quieter than your SXS? Well how loud is your SXS? Seriously? Then u need a jeep! Hell, Theres theads all over the place on here we've posted about them. In the end its like anything else, its a preference and u just have to try them if your intersted. Only u can decide if there for you! So, Ill post you guys another set of pics for your enjoyment and to ponder on!

Theres a slight possibility you can find some, but it would be one goofy MO FO!
