Just received a set of 4 Sedona Coyote 27x9x12. I’m mounting them on Delta steel rims 5+2. I have been running 25x8 front 25x10 rear on stock rims with 1” front 2” rear spacers. Probably Going to use the same spacers but will see how things look when I mount them next week. They should be about .5” wider front and rear than before and that will probably work well. Looking forward to see how they perform. I measured them aired up off the machine and they look to be about 26.5” tall. I’ll add some pictures when I get them bolted on.

Im huge fan of bias ply tires. They run full ply rating bead to bead. 8 or 10 ply radials usually only have 2 ply sidewalls.

I prefer bias ply as well, these are 6 ply. I also feel the bias ply tires conform better over rough terrain for better grip. Nothing against radials just a personal preference.

Those look great! They look better than the stock photos for sure.

Have my new tires mounted up and took them for a ride today. No clearance problems with about 1” clearance for the frame. These tires ride nice, less road noise than before. I originally went with 25” tires because I was concerned about power loss but the 27” tires are working fine with no power problems. I can pull the hills in the same gear I used with the 25” tires.

NitroxDiver,
New taller tires/wheels looks good! I see most of this forum running 26" tall tires. I am thinking "if tall tires are good, aren't taller tires better?" Is it a center of gravity thing that keeps height of tires down?
Are you using your wheel spacers with new tires?

You have two concerns going taller stability and power loss. I was more concerned with power loss so started out with 25” tires at first and after running them for a bit I felt I could get by with the 27” tires and gave them a try. I added the spacers for stability and I am current running the 2” rear 1” front spacers. In my opinion the p5 pulls the 27” tire fine but I wouldn’t go any taller for my terrain. The benefits of the taller tires are better ride ( it’s less bumpy) and ground clearance.

Looking at going with the same tire on stock wheel. But with 27x11 in the rear.

2018 Pioneer 500.
Just did it. Bought aftermarket wheels, 7", 5+2. Added 1" spacers front, 1.5" rear(RB3). Just got them mounted up and put on, literally, 10 minutes ago! It looks so good I think I'm in love all over again. 😁. Will keep everyone posted when I can take some pics

Just rode it down the road. Paved. 1.5 miles. A little uphill coming back. Not much though. Before, with 26" Chinese tires that barley measured 25" it would hit rev limiter when speedometer hit 40. It won't quite get there now. Speedometer reads 38 and my GPS says 41. Floored. All hes' got. Haven't had a chance to measure how much height I gained but it's enough to be very noticeable when sitting inside. My low pressure guage mysteriously disappeared so the tires have pretty much pressure that it took to seat the beads. I'm thinking this is gonna be pretty much the perfect gear ratio.
