I bought a set of Sedona coyote tires for my 1000-5, stock rims. 27x9-12, 27x11-12, Their website suggests 7psi. Seems low. Anyone else running these tires? What PSI are you running?

7 pounds sounds low for a 6 ply tire to me also. It might work if your speeds are low. fwiw: my Talon's running weight is about 1750 without a driver and I'm currently running 10 pounds in an 8 ply (30" Chicane RX).

I'm running 14 psi in 30x10xr-14 quadboss QBT846 tires. I have portal hubs and a bunch of extras. They are still squatting a bit and work great. I would rather have a little too much air then not enough. I don't want to break a rim or pop a bead. The old off road saying is, it's a lot easier to let air out if you get stuck and need to then to put air in (especially if the bead is popped or the rim is busted). Most guy go too low, and in most cases it really doesn't help much, if any at all. Just a little squat is good.

I’ve got sadona rip saws 28-10-14 on my P1K5 tire says max psi 12 min psi 8 I run 10 psi and have had no problems so far. Be careful running to low of a psi, you may get pinch flats easier.

I have had mine at 10 for over 5 years now with no issues and tires holding up very well.

fwiw: the 500 is about 600 pounds lighter than the 1000.

It is a bias ply tire so it is 6ply bead to bead. If it was rated like a radial it would be classified as a 18 ply yes 18 ply tire. A 8 ply radial is inner sidewall 2ply outer sidewall 2 ply and a 4ply tread, 8 ply total.
