Picked up a 2016 with 60 miles on it a few weeks ago. Not shifting into 3rd gear and when I get to about 30-31mph is stutters which is probably a rpm rev limiter. I changed the oil with amsoil and reset the maintenance reminder wrench icon thinking it was just the old original oil. I have disconnected the battery to reset the ecu and will see if that helps

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Here’s the video…..

That "-" to the left indicates something going on with the shift position switch or wiring. Sould say D, N, or R. Fix that and the rest will come good.

On the back of the engine driver's side, just under the shift arm/shaft, IIRC. Suspect rodent damage.

When mine did that it was a bad ground, the one on the engine but It wouldn’t hurt to put a wrench on the battery and the positive wires too.

If you can solder, it won’t be fun but you can fix it yourself. If not a dealer will probably make you buy a new wire harness. That being the case I’d find a friend or shade tree mechanic that can help you out.

Totally agree.
Find a shade tree mechanic or try it yourself.

I enjoy these types of repairs myself.

Fastenal sells some butt connectors that are crimp and solder and have heat shrink on them. Just crimp them on then heat the solder with a heat gun or butane torch. I used these at work to fix some wiring on a drill rig and they worked great. You could add extra heat shrink tubing over the connectors if you wanted to.

Power phase is the brand. I'm sure there are other brands out there. You would need the red ones.
