During dusk, the desert often takes on a warm, golden glow we refer to as "Golden hour" in the few moments before the sun dips below the horizon. Add in some clouds, and that can more reddish in tone.
I swear this is a straight, raw pic with no editing...

DG, that dozer is not there for any major dirt moving. It appears to have a push blade for helping to load scrapers. Additionally, it appears to be set up for installing some type of cable or maybe water line. As loose as the right track is, I suspect it may be waiting for some type of track repair.
That's the snowfall that everyone around here dreams of. We occasionally get a dump like that but it's hard to enjoy because everyone loses their mind. I need to get the soft cab on my Pioneer so I can hopefully enjoy several days traversing the backroads before they're cleared. Thanks for sharing and getting me motivated.View attachment 413945View attachment 413946View attachment 413947View attachment 413948View attachment 413949View attachment 413950My ride today. Up to the end of where they plow to and back. I stay off the side trails because the sleds are rippin around now and its their time now. Kind of an unwritten rule here. Still good to get out for some fresh air.
We are way behind in snow. We just had the worst wildfire year in history here and looking at severe drought conditions if it doesn’t dump. We had a green Christmas which is 42 yrs old here. I have windshield and mid panel with a busted zipper and I just dress for it.That's the snowfall that everyone around here dreams of. A lot of us are getting older @CID, can still do all of those things that we used to, just takes longer. Keep enjoying!
Where I am a little farther south, they say”When the mountains turn pink, it’s time to drink”.During dusk, the desert often takes on a warm, golden glow we refer to as "Golden hour" in the few moments before the sun dips below the horizon. Add in some clouds, and that can more reddish in tone.

Cancer almost killed me eight years ago ... but it didn't and I'm thankful, everyday, that I discovered SxSs at the same time I aged out of dirt bikes. The Talon will keep me exploring the backcountry until my health fails for the last time.A lot of us are getting older @CID, can still do all of those things that we used to, just takes longer.
