Quartzsite got hit by a heavy rain storm. When I rode Tyson wash, it was dry as a bone, not even any wet spots. It was like a sandy super highway connecting route and took a lot of throttle to maintain my momentum due to the creek bed sand/gravel.

The 3//4 of a mile I rode the wash, circled in red. Quartzsite is just off screen above the red circle. Campsite, RV and trailer is this guy on the right -

My main goal today was to find out what "Blake place " was. The answer is a pretty cool rock out cropping, and some remnants of what appears to be a shack or cabin. And nothing more...

However, my prime interest in Blake place involves the fact that there appeared to be a large alcove or maybe mine entrance near it. I confirmed today that my eyes weren't crazy... And there appears to be exactly that....

There appears to be a faint road on the ridge to the east of the trail up to Blake place, but as of right now I haven't been able to locate that.

It appears the road up to Blake place continued at one time, but as of right now it's so overgrown by cat claw and cactus, that even walking up the trail proved to be a futile exercise and would tear you to shreds.
