Months ago I posted a pic of a log from the Copper Basin Railroad dated back in 1991. While riding down a trail next to the tracks I came across another drag detector cabinet. Inside it was more logs. Would you believe 1978? Wow!

While I was 5 years old, some one stood here writing this down? I'd like to see them preserve this.

Every time I ride down Tucson Wash and go under the RR trestle to Mammoth, I wonder when the last train went over it. There are still some old tank cars at the yard in San Manuel.

Had a nice ride in the Tortolita Mountains yesterday. We had rain during the night before and more rain around us during the ride, but very little on us while riding. Absolutely dust free for once. Photos show Picacho Peak in the background, with and without sunlight.

Campsite at La Posa South (3 miles south of Quartzsite AZ), earlier this spring. You can get as far away from others as you'd like. I was here because I was still winterized and living with a Porta Pottie, its capacity is two weeks max. This place had a dump station. I don't remember what it cost, not much, but a 2 week stay limit IIRC. There are other free dispersed camping sites, relatively nearby.
