Wind blowin' so hard ya had to 'tether down' to keep from blowin' off the edge?

Led a group of 2 other machines to the secret lunch spot. I hauled the flat grill and table on the carrier. I was treated to pork souvlaki with homemade tzatziki by my Greek friend. Yumm. After lunch I showed them a little bonus loop, the guy in the Can-Am said I cost him a lot of money, he now wants a 4 seat Talon!

An old road master maybe?

Those scallops look like early to mid 50's. Being a 2 door it is probably a Buick Century or Special.

A quick tour around the interwebs seems to indicate a 1952 Buick Roadmaster...

Not a huge Buick guy, but sad to see what it once was compared to its current state.

It wouldn't let me upload the original engine pic...something about mega-pickles or something, so here is a cropped version...

I’ve noticed that @DG Rider posts pictures at a rate of 100 to 1 as compared to me.

So my 87 year old mom decides she wants to see the fall colors.
And, my wife has Columbus Day off, so I took a day off and loaded up the p500 and an ATV.
Headed to Pike APV area for the day.

After watching trails go off in every direction from this wash, I took an easterly route, and soon, Kearny, AZ appears in the distance. Don't know if you can see the stacks from the mine in this pic...

Down the wash, I found some ranching water storage...

Notice the slot canyon to the left. I decided to explore this, and it lead to a rather dramatic drop off.

I pity the RZR or Can-Am guy who comes flying down this. Looked like some man-made help for this drop off.

Of course, this was late in the day, so I had to turn back. Topo maps show a graveyard nearby, as well as some other trails leading over to Kearny. Guess where I'm going next week?
