took some shots from Begbie lookout looking east with the haze from the Cali wildfires. the whole area is hundreds of kilometers of orv trails heading in every direction.on a clear day you can see 360 degrees of around 93 million hectares,and some from the snowmobile area i like to rip.also a lake i found when i took a wrong turn on the gold rush snowmobile trail.and a bear while we were fishing.View attachment 228078View attachment 228079View attachment 228081 View attachment 228084

Well I think Id be happy if they'd finally settle on ONE or the OTHER. Its the guys that mix both std and metric on the same pieces of equipment that absolutely drive me to throw stuff. Deere is bad about it. 😬 😬 😬

we do that up here all the time,but for work all our plans/blueprints are in millimeters.

i tried to take a pic on the downside,but my samsung takes crappy pics and they don't show perspective worth a damn.this hill pic is so steep even the mx riders won't try and climb it.it's strictly down hill only.not the hill i went up,just reference.

As I've mentioned, I love to find these old corrals. New one to me, despite riding the area a lot. Check out the old windmill, displaced by gas. And that old gas tank...

Also found some cool rocks...

The Gila was at 196cfs and too deep to cross, twarthinng my attempts to reach walnut canyon, so I settled for another old corrall...

I've been there before, and like an old friend, it comforts the weary traveller...

At the top of the wash, during the climb back out...
