As I unloaded today, I wondered if @lee was on vacation in AZ, as a ridgeline pulling a red 500 pulled in. Turns out it had AZ plates...
In Arizona you always have to take every trail. I've ridden by this little sidetrail 50 times probably, and today I decided to go up it and found some nice discoveries...

Seriously...I was like "is that lee?". The person in question had this weird rear shade type setup. I'm starting to see the value of that as I always get too much sun on the back of my neck. I wear sunscreen but it still seems to be too much, so lately I've taken To wearing my cap backwards, so now people mistake me for a razor driver...

My 1st 700 was a 4 seater with a full roof, so the back was covered. My 500 had a homemade roof from the previous owner, and it went well down (too far down) in the back. So this 700 is the 1st SxS I've had that was truly "open" in the back. I miss that shade in back for sure. May get one of those screens for a rear panel.

Nice easy ride today to Kielberg Canyon Southeast of San Manuel, Az. Out of 8 machines only two Honda’s.

A bit warmer in AZ today. Something I meant to do last week...a return to "Historic Pinal Cemetery" and the final resting place of Ms Wyatt Earp and several others.
Funny story: while looking at Mattie's grave I heard something in the cactus nearby and a snake stuck its head out right beside the headstone. It was kind of like something in a horror movie...
