Funny, if you left a hyundai in the desert I'd want to see you get a ticket and pay for its removal or get a beat down.
But if you left a 1929 Essex in '32 I'd love to treck out to see it.
(Oh hell, if it got me out of ohio I'd probably look at a hyundai if I had to)

Okay for the last 30 minutes or so, the 700 has been doing its best talon impression. Came across the Hill from Kearny and saw this...
Wasn't here earlier today. Looks to be in the direction of my tow vehicle, but now that I'm up on a hill it looks to be beyond it. Still might affect my way home, so I'm beating it to the tow vehicle ASAP.

Well north of tow vehicle as it turns out. Maybe price road/box canyon...maybe even superior area. Either way, not good for an area that's been burned recently. Careless assholes.

Evacuations ordered for some areas near Tussock Fire burning near Crown King
After tripling in size in a day, the Tussock Fire burning near Crown King presented enough of a danger for authorities to issue evacuation orders for three areas Sunday afternoon.

In all the rush to find out if my Tahoe was ashes, I forgot to post this pic of a Gila Monster I came across heading up Hackberry wash...
Rode Charouleau Gap trail today. Cañada del Oro almost dry. Got to put some fresh scrapes on my new 1/2” UHMW skid plates, but the ride was great.

For the third time, I've broken a spring on my trailer. So today's ride was aborted. I get REAL pissy when I have to abort a ride...
Like I said third time on this trailer even though the capacity was something like 21 or 2,200 lb. Though it has been a while since I broken one. Part of the frustration here is trying to figure out what trailer I have since the documentation on it is pretty hit and miss. It's a 5.5 x 10 Carson, and with the decals being long since faded into obscurity, that's about all I can tell you.

Beautiful area up there. It’s too bad the majority of the trails aren’t a little more challenging. I remember camping near Hannigans meadow with the family in July early 70’s and had ice hanging from the roof of the tent in the morning
