The "high" yesterday for the nearest town was like 103, but it was cloudy for most of the day, so temps in the cab stayed around the 80's until the last few hours when the clouds broke. I think I saw 100 at one point, but the sun was getting lower, so it didn't last long.
I was with a group that visited Ripsey a couple of months ago. Went into the mine and found out that someone has removed the mucking machine that was in there 2 years ago. It’s a shame that some can’t leave well enough alone.

The cabin is part of the snowmobile club. More of a warm up hut. It was built in memory of an old friend of mine named Kelly. The cabin is called the Kdog cabin. No beds just benches and a table. Anyone can use it.
