I've got the inside rear view mirror, but wanted to put side mirrors on. However I'm having second thoughts, not because I don't want them, but because I can't get a good view out of them. My P700 has the canvas/plastic side doors enclosure, and once the Seizmik mirrors are mounted on the cage pipe, there is about a 2" black part of the canvas door frame that blocks most of the view from the mirror. I'm thinking I've got to fabricate some type of extension pipe to get the mirror slightly further away from the door to allow a full rear view. Either that or forget about putting side mirrors on it. Could also get rid of the cab enclosure but don't like that idea. Just curious if any others have side mirrors and what type and where and how did you mount them so you could actually see the full mirror.

Another Method to Cure the problem of <>" Poor Vision through Mirrors & Soft Side Windows."

Mount the Mirror Forward to be seen Through the Winshield. ( Keps the from sticking out further )
Think of the old 50's Cars With Front Fender Mirrors.

Pictures included are of Pioneer 500's
1st. 2 pictures using Honda Winshield Mounting Clamps. ( Kolpin Mirrors online purchase )
Next 3. Pictures using Roll Cage Bolts. ( online purchase For Talon & commander )
Last 2 pictures taken from setting In the Seat.

Only the imagination & fab abilities can hold you back ( think OUTSIDE of Every day Box )
P520 is Next to get Talon Mirrors.

OK, I mounted mine to the front bumper. From driver seat good view, but I've still gotta test em out on the road.

They bend, not sure if it'll hit bumper or not I'll have to check. I don't ride much cross country so not a problem I'd expect to have, and if I do I go slow. I have other machines for sport, this one is my utility worker.

To close the loop, I ended up making 3" extensions and mounting them a little different. This works and gives me a clear view, the end, lol.

I see you have solved your mirror mounting question. I thought that I would share what I did for others to see.
I took a pc of 1/4" x 3" aluminum flat bar and mounted it on the ROP at the split. I packed out the space behind the plastic with a pc of painted 3/4" plywood and bolted the mirror through it. I do not have full view out of the passenger side, but I could use a longer bolt with a spacer to mount that mirror if I wanted full view on that side
