P1000 Siezmik bed extender for 2022 1000/5

i emailed Siezmik asking if their bed extender would fit a 2022 1000/5 and they said ‘it should fit just fine!’. Has anyone else heard this?

I don’t remember any changes to the bed so I would agree with their assessment.

After a lot of work getting funding i'm excited to build a P1k-5 for my fire department to respond in our local mountain parks for emergencies. I'm looking forward to seeing this project finished but first have a lot of accessories to install. Most of which have already been covered in this...

Thanks for the reply! He did state that he had to use a mallet to get it to close and that’s why I’m concerned.

Yes I see that now. Have you looked at the Rough Country extender? You can always PM @Jackson198 if you really want the Seizmik to see exactly what the issue is.

I bought the seizmik bed extender back when I first put a deposit down for a 21 model. (At the time saved about $100 by going ahead and ordering it) Year later ended up with a 22 PK5 and it fit great on mine. Use it all the time for extra bed space.

I was just about to order the Rough Country but wanted to give Siezmik a last chance as I think it maybe a bit nicer although a lot more expensive. I assumed they make mods to make it fit better on the new construction so am looking for anyone else that bought one recently.
