I want to add some sound to my P1k5. I had a SSV system in a RZR. I know they area quality, but looking to spend less this time.

I am leaning toward a sound bar with Bluetooth for ease of/clean installation.

Find this MTX unit:

MUD6SPBT Universal 6 Speaker All Weather Sound Bar for Boats, Bikes & ORV - by MTX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012886JTW/?tag=sxsweb24-20

Even considering just going with a waterproof Bluetooth speaker like this one:

AOMAIS GO Bluetooth Speakers,Waterproof Portable Indoor/Outdoor 30W Wireless Stereo Pairing Booming Bass Speaker,30-Hour Playtime with 7200mAh Power Bank,Durable for Pool Party,Beach,Camping(Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071H8MJ99/?tag=sxsweb24-20

Anyone like to chime in with pros, cons, and other suggestions?

Thanks.

You get what you pay for I’ve tried exactly 6 setups between the 700 and 1000 and sound quality improved with higher $ setups.

Sound quality isn’t as important if you’re not trying to hear it over 500 to 1000ccs, I had the el cheapo Bluetooth speakers in my garage, I just turn the WetSounds on the pioneer on and listen to music now.

I don’t know what $$ you are wanting to spend but currently I have a Bazooka sound bar like Walter sells here NEW!! Bazooka 24",24" Dual Side & 36" party bar for sale from CreativeUTVgraphics It has leds in the speakers and is a pretty neat bar, it lacks Bass as pretty much all soundbars I have heard do - or rather could use a separate Sub paired with it. while my Bazooka does cut out on the top two volume levels it is still a good soundbar.

All that said - I am looking at upgrading to a Wet Sounds sound bar. - they sound really clear and paired with their sub are tough to beat. I just added a Wet Sounds AS-8 sub under my drivers seat and while I have only used it on one ride I am very pleased. I have heard several others Wet Sounds systems and been very impressed.

My 2¢ anyway

In the Pioneer I’ll be running the system I had in my last one which was all separates in a dedicated system.
For our Yamaha which is quite a bit louder then the Pioneer we went cheap and easy with a sound bar as we needed tunes immediately. After some light research we bought the Boss Brrc34, and have had real good luck so far. It Bluetooth connects quicker then most I’ve seen, has all the goodies and seems very waterproof as I’ve pressure washed it directly several times. Still carries small speakers only so no real lows but that’s with any sound bar. Been happy for what it is.

What do ya'll think about something like this? It's not something for the guys that like to have the loudest but it looks like it should work for someone thats not looking to go over the top.

Boss MC650B 1200w Bluetooth 4) Speaker+Amplifier Handlebar System Motorcycle/ATV | eBay

I think for the money that wouldn't be too bad actually. However it’s designed for motorcycle bars so you’d have to get the correct roll bar mounts and possibly figure something out

I have the bazooka and I’m pleased. It does everything I need and expected. For the $$$ it’s a hard system to beat. I think Walmart had then for $259 online

I put a little over 600 in my hole build 0e70e1cdbd974a3269df1301f9178d6607075a6d58383f4008c2371fe4f45ef7B4d28d5458f0f304010aa5427592934695f1f566fd0f00f057721c70409be8c07e2f5ffc9cb7f2b27f6599115f97b580F1ed3b401b3f4f9051e3d22e69db2fbfD02fb9ef3fb6aeebb2a665c713adae41344a010986e9b77334162e7ef92be661D6586d39f395e1250320a40896450407

That's probably the route I'll take if I decide to put tunes in the rig. Could build something fairly easy to conform with the roof with resin and fleece.
I'd rather use standard auto type components that can be easily replaced or upgraded fairly cheap.
That's one reason I was looking at the bazooka type tube I linked earlier. They have one using 6.5" and the other 8"

I would suggest at least one 8" or bigger in the system. A soundbar with 1000 watts and twenty 3" speakers will be plenty loud, kinda like a woman screaming at you. A component system with two speakers, a sub and a quarter of the power will punch you in the chest.

The kicker head unit is 50 watt per channel on the 4 4" kicker two ways and the 10" is on a 600watt and has just the right amount of scream and bass .I matched everything to the RMS watts .Has a good clear sound

I have the Boss system on my 700-2. It hangs above the bed from the roll bar, bungied against the headrests. It rocks.

I have a Froghead Industries set up. It was not cheap, but works great. Great Customer service to help with questions. I added my own powered sub on the top of the overhead mount to add some bass. They have since built a sub for under the seat.

Hey guys one question . I'm installing a boss Bluetooth on my 700. Where and how is the best place to wire the power in? I'm not a whiz with electronics but wasn't sure where to tie into the factory harness or is the a place to connect on a fuse panel or something?
Any pics and help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

You are probably going to want to tie into a switch before the battery - Soundbars are notorious for having a small current that will drain your battery over time. a switch will isolate it from your battery until you are ready to turn on.

Have any of you compared the Powerbass sound bars to the Wetsound? I am ready to pull the trigger but not sure what to buy. I have sold and installed the Wetsound but I have not heard the Powerbass.
