I have a 2016 1000-5 That I bought as a carryover last year. I have followed the maintenance schedule Very closely and have about 1100 miles on it. I live in northern Minnesota and worked the heck out of it this winter plowing a record amount of snow, getting stuck multiple times (before chains and rearend weight, and running it on a daily basis in below zero temperatures. Just to be on the safe side and probably as a thank you for a job well done I’m going to change the oil and possibly the sub transmission oil also to prep her for recreational use. Bring on summer! Looking for a little advice on what type of sub transmission oil to use to quiet down the machine a bit and any other advice of maintenance to do after working her like a plow horse all winter. She’s going to get a really good bath too after the mud dries up.
