Used to live in AR, and there are plenty of places to ride. Most roads around the river are ATV friendly, as are most privately-owned campgrounds. There are thousands of acres of private land that are leased for hunting and riding. Hardy is kind of "different"in the way it is structured. You have the "locals" and the "weekend warriors", and for the most part, they all get along. Back in the 70s & 80s, several realtors went to Hardy, and bought oodles of land to turn it into a resort area. It was somewhat successful, but the one good thing is a VERY relaxed atmosphere, and no desire to change that mindset. Local law enforcement realizes the money coming from the river crowd pays the bills, and as long as you are responsible, will leave you alone.
