Hate to say it but they have probably lost some spring rate over time. The best thing to do would find someone that supplies one of the local circle tracks. Lots of the parts guys. Have spring testers and will rate a spring for free and be able to order you a good spring. Like afco has a lifetime warranty on springs. Why is it that you want more spring rate?
