Stock Air filter change gone wrong

Has anyone had any problems with your P1000-5 not running correctly after an air filter change??

Has anyone had any problems with your P1000-5 not running correctly after an air filter change??

I know on my first air filter change, the gasket kicked my a$$. I ended up putting a few spots of 3-M adhesive on it and held in place with metal clip binders. After that it was no problem. I think that's why a lot of the guys run filters on their snorkels. It helps save the factory filter.

Ok I found the problem. Looks like when I removed the first cover to access the actual air filter lid I must have partially unplugged one of the coil wires. That explains why it started and ran to the end of the drive and then went to acting up. Now that I’m that deep I might as well check valve lash and slap a couple plugs iner. Haven checked the valves since around 100 miles or so. Thanks for the support JenElio and Haldog77
