Our 2017 pioneer 1000-5 LE with stock suspension and wheels, no spacers, no lift. With 28x10R-14 System 3 XTR370 X-Terrain tires.
I can get them to rub slightly at full lock, and some rubbing when flexing out the suspension.
So far I'm in love with them. They feel so much better than the stock Maxxis bighorn 2.0.
The talon next to it is completely stock as well, it makes a nice comparison.
I will update with a more in depth review once I really get to know them on the trails!

Tires specs:
•28x10R-14
•8 ply non-DOT
•28.1-28.25" at 12psi
•0.75-1.0" tread depth
•18 psi max
•1,002 lbs. max
•37.2 lbs.

Your rig looks great, did you notice much difference in power? Trying to decide on 28” or 30” tires?

It is more reluctant to break the rears loose and keep them spinning, which is also from the better grip.
Considering they are 10 lbs heavier and much taller, the difference is not that noticable to me. I'm willing to eat that power loss for durability, reliability, grip and looks . (I punctured 2 bighorns on back to back weekends)

I just bought my 17 1000-5 LE and it is stock and needing tires. This is my first UTV. Did you have to buy different wheels. I know the tires are different sizes front and rear but are the wheels exactly the same size(width). Did you end up getting the same width tires for both the front and rear?

I have the xtr in 30's and really dont notice much difference in power. They are 41lbs each, only 3lbs more than the 28" tensors I did have.

FWIW I've been running in high only since my low gear is out. Doesn't have a problem in moderate mud.

These tires are great so far, great traction.

The wheels are different. You can go 28x10x14 on all four with stock wheels but you can't rotate them. I've been running 28x10s blackwater evolutions on stock wheels for about bout 1500 miles now. If you wanna rotate your tires, u will have to buy new wheels. Most people buy 5+2 offset wheels and put a 1 inch spacer in the rear to make the front and rear even.

How you liking the Evo's for general trail riding? My Pitbull Growlers work good, but throw gravel rocks like crazy.

I like them but have nothing to compare them to other than stock black stones. They are good in mud, pretty decent in rocks but are noisy on blacktop and wear fast on blacktop. I avoid blacktop when I can.. But ive already gotten more miles out of the evos than both sets of stock tires that I wore out.

I had a set of Evo Black Waters, never had a flat at 10 PSI, they don't like black top, Im now running Evo Terra Hooks. For me its a better tire, but I try to avoid deep mud.

Added a 3" lift last night. With the Fox QS3's I had to rotate the front shocks 180° for the tires to clear the reservoirs under hard compression. There are 1.5" spacers on the back only.
You can see it will now clear a bucket by maybe an 1/8th inch without anyone in it lol.
We will be riding WV outlaw trails for 4 days this weekend, I'll give my thoughts on the whole set up after that!

Awesome looking rig! I have an LE also and have been hearing lifts are a no no for us. Do you have much time on it? Have you encountered any binding or axle issues?

I just order a pair of xtr's myself. Will the 28x10x14 rub on my fox shocks then?
I just have a stock deluxe and mine only rub in really big compression and turning at the same time.

Got ya. So no damage then, just rubing?
Yea definitely no damage just barely rub my occasionally when all the stars align and I think I might’ve fixed it now thanks to some others on here with just a self tapper and fender washer.
