Looking for a really cool looking street only wheel and tire setup. Maybe like something you would see on a VW Manx? Maybe it doesn’t exist? Just thought it would be cool looking. Any thoughts? Be nice!!!

Lol. Not my style. Look good on a 64 though if you like that sort of thing. Looking for the lightest 30”-32” DOT tire on a 15x7 or 15x9 light weight wheel.

Method Bead Grip wheels are light and come in 15x8 to fit the Talon. I'm running a set on my racecar.

I run zero offset front and rear. (4" backspace)

Weels weigh 14.5lbs each

I don't run rear spacers and don't recommend you do either. Running spacers on the rear is strictly a looks thing and it hurts turn in ability. You want it to look good sitting still or handle and steer good? Up to you...

BFG KM3's or a similar 30" LT tire if you want the offroad look, or go with some low profile Nitto 555's or similar for a street look.

Thanks I appreciate your feed back. I currently run 6+1 front and 4+3 rear with 15” bead locks on 32’s. This setup doesn’t require spacers that’s why I asked. It does however kill 6th gear with 4 people on board and cooler etc. So 30’s on light weight wheels should be the ticket. That’s cool you are racing. When and if I stop racing offshore powerboats I will be looking into utv racing as a replacement. Thanks again.

My uncle lives in Florida and has a 135’ yacht.
dual 1200hp turbo diesel rolls Royce engines.

Cost him $3800 in fuel to run 40 minutes to his favorite fishing spot and back.

He had an engine rebuilt last summer for $45k……..

That’s not even a race boat.

It ain’t cheap that’s fore sure. I’m lucky I landed a ride with a great group (Team Woody) out of Texas. We had a incredible year. Just landed 3-national championships. Running a 3 boat team is not for the faint of heart.
