Aesthetic is right, it would look killer! Wouldn't want to go 6" though, 3" or 4" would work.Could you handle a six inch chop? I just barely clear now, and visibility out the front, particularly with the overhanging Honda roof would be seriously diminished. Apparently this mod is purely an aesthetical one???
I thought somebody here already has chopped the P5?Aesthetic is right, it would look killer! Wouldn't want to go 6" though, 3" or 4" would work.
Lower profile would help slightly with COG. Could fit under more low hangers. Head room wouldn't be an issue for me.
Just don't want to mess it up. If someone else did it on a P5, and gave some dimensions to work with, I'd do it.
Too much going on right now anyway. Love the concept though.
Don't tempt me...Wisconsin's not that far away!Bring it here, I'll chop it for ya!
Lots of good trails to ride there too...I have the maps.Bring it on! Lol

Mopar would be kickin' my ass in that 1000!
@Chooglin posted a link where a guy did it to a P5. Just pics though, nothing specific.
Yikes, don't wanna be the guinea pig! Maybe the second one where you're perfecting your craft. So, I was just studying a few pics if the p500, and while I'd need one to out hands on to be sure it looks like I could easily get 6-8 inches out if one and level out the top to get rid of the goofy bump, maintain use of a stock roof and cut down stock windshield. Anybody wanna bring me a guinea pig?
Can I bring my P5 up for a SSS skid plate install?Well I'll extend the offer then, first one is free for me being able to measure everything and make sure it looks good, if anyone wants to bring their machine up. I've chopped the p1k5, my old rzr and a couple of go karts for my brother back in the day, so if you wanna bring it. Let me know!
Hey, they put that "goofy bump" for tall guys like me so we don't bang our heads. I need all that room. But how about post 33, sense you're so industrial and generous at the moment? So, I was just studying a few pics if the p500, and while I'd need one to out hands on to be sure it looks like I could easily get 6-8 inches out if one and level out the top to get rid of the goofy bump, maintain use of a stock roof and cut down stock windshield. Lol, must of been posting simultaneously. Yes, of course we would ride, maybe trigger would come on over for his chop job and ride too.See response above

How long does it take to do one? Wouldn't let you do anything for free, food, beer, wash your truck, something!Well I'll extend the offer then, first one is free for me being able to measure everything and make sure it looks good, if anyone wants to bring their machine up. Just the half windshield so I've got that working for me. Wouldn't want to crowd it but there's excessive room now.

You can even take it on the trail...but then what would I drive?
