Check what @Hondasxs posted ~2 years ago: "Bracket in wrong location and backwards clamps are the usualy problems."
Also, make sure you don't have the hydraulic cylinder ends mounted on the inside of the brackets instead of the outside -- I did that and couldn't understand why it wouldn't close all the way. Only took about ~10 minutes of staring at it while drinking a beer before it hit me.

You guys should see whats its like after you Chop your top and have to trim the SATV windshield to fit your roof! Youll think the issue u have is as easy as adjusting to the next loop on belt for your pants! Lol

I had to trim my front lip also.
I believe there are at least 3 different part numbers for honda roofs that are the "same part". They are made by different people and that's how honda tracks warranty issues. I wonder if they are molded a little different in the front lip???

Scoop, you are obviously very a quick study . . . it usually takes 5 to 6 beers and an hour or more before solutions to difficult problems come to light.
Since I'm not a drinker, I stagger through life leaving a trail of unsolved problems for others to deal with!

I'm pretty sure the clamps for the upper section of our flip mount to the same exact location as the roof clamps. We had ours designed before ever seeing that OEM roof # 0SR85-HL4-A50 roof unfortunately.

could I move the clamps on the roof and plug the old holes?

If you feel comfortable making mods to your roof, I'm sure it can be done.

The SuperATV Flip Up Windshield will still work with the 2022 3 seater 1000 OEM roof though correct? Part number 0SR85-HL4-A30. Thanks
Good question! We haven't seen the 2022 roof yet either. You can be the first to let us know! Lol! I'll take care of you if there's an issue...or maybe we can all join in and help solve it here if you do run into some funky fitment issues.

I have the Super ATV windshield on my 2022 1000-5 with the OEM roof and it doesn't rub. The windshield was an easy install with good instructions. The Honda dealer ordered both for me. I like that windshield better than the OEM flip one that I had on the 700. I have misplaced the receipts to check the part numbers but I will continue to look for it.

I’ve installed the gray/black roof #0SR85-HL4-G50 and SATV flip up on my 22 Forest 1000-5 with no rubs or close figment problems. I went slow during installation to make sure nothing was backwards or flipped around and it went together awesome. Took me about 30mins to do finally adjustments and tightening of all the clamps and all was good with the world…. until the next time I watched the news. 😵💫
