P1000 Super swampers

I was thinking of trying a set of light truck tsl super swampers. They are a 28-8.50-14. Has anyone had any experience with these? I was going to put them on stock deluxe wheels. I was curious if the 8.5” wide tire would look odd on the rear.

I ran them for a while they were great for me.

I liked Swampers on my truck years ago.

I just looked this up, and they are bias ply, and are a 4 ply on the tread, with 2 ply sidewalls. The weight is good at 31 lbs, but personally I'd pass. I want at least 6 ply, and radial.

Were you happy with the traction your swampers had. I don’t mud bog mine, but get in some wet stuff on creek crossings and hunting.

I may be bias no pun intended but I've been running a set of 235 75 15 Federal courageous for three years 5800 MI and 0 Flats have been good for me I have done some grooving for traction and more flex

They were great. Better off road traction than my tensor regulators. Great on road manners. The side wall of the tire is very thick. Running them side by side with my brothers stock big horns they seemed to work better than the big horns.
