Last year we set up some standard radio channels for use at the campground. Let's try to do the same this year. Though we are not assigning anyone to monitor them, this info is still good to know just in case.
What is FRS. FRS is Family Radio Service. Basically, it's your standard walkie-talkie channel 4.
When in groups, Set your own channels up to weed out others for a smooth ride.
- FRS Channel 4 will be the Royal Blue Campground channel. If your at the Royal Blue Campground this channel will be used to announce our events. Friday meet up / group picture / group ride. Saturday evening meet up / food / raffle.
- FRS Channel 9 will be used for Emergency discussions. Again, no guarantee it will be monitored but let's keep it clear for such use if need be.
