I had to help the PD clean out some of their old junk as well as destroy some old evidence and years of dash cam VHS tapes for them a couple years back. Kept a couple of the nicer motorcycles officer helmets they replaced.

We parked at exit 141 today and rode all over the east side of I-75. And saw very few people wearing helmets! Just saying.! Not suggesting that you don’t need to bring your helmets but we didn’t see any law enforcement around either. I am still going to bring mine!

Not required on trails just on roads.
