So, I wonder what will carryover onto the P1K? Is transmission , gearing etc the same? What could we Rob from the Talon that would upgrade the Pioneer?
Waiting to see how this plays out.
Thoughts?

Thought the same thing man! I think they are just adding better elements inside and the transmission should be the same! It said aggressive style tuned overhead cam, bigger throttle body, bigger injectors, Bigger intake port, and a few other little things like that. i did the power commander 5 and autotune, K&N, seemed to really wake it up

Horse power is exciting! My main goal for the P1000 is hardcore trail and work reliability. I want to load it down with camping gear, get back into the woods and never break! All while wearing big enough tires to not rip out the under carriage.

This would make me happy!

Better take some tie rods and a couple spare axels. Otherwise... you’re good!

No kidding, I've bent and snapped stuff and was using nowhere near 72 HP, a 1000HP is useless without a matching chassis to keep power to the ground.

Need to scour the Talon parts list.

Steering box??

The Talon uses much beefier tie rods. Looks like a 2 piece design for the length of the rod vs the P1000 1 piece. Looks like they have tube threaded onto the pivot portion of the head.

I looked into this the other day.
Completely different between Talon and Pioneer.
Even the X and R are different.
