I got a couple new goodies for my Talon R.

- 33x10x15 GBC Kenati Terra Masters
- System3 Wheels SB4 15x7 +45 (6+1)
- S3 Powersports Arched A-arms

I have a slight bow in my stock a-arms, so it was time to upgrade. I have the L&W Arched A-arms on my Talon X. They have been gtg so far. I wanted to try the S3 product out and they had free powder coating in blue. The welds look really nice but I am not a welder, so take that in to account. My first impression is top notch quality!
I run the 32" Terra Masters on my Talon X and love them! They have done it all and in every type of terrain for me! They handle and corner really good! But the 32's are small in size, they actually measure out around 31 1/4" tall. The 33's look quite a bit taller, but they are not on the machine or aired down yet. The 32's on System3 SB5 weigh low to mid 56.xx lbs. The 33's on SB4 weigh low to mid 57.xx lbs. They are nice an light. I like the tire so much I bought 4 more Terra Masters 32's to run on our YXZ also!) After trying out some of the different tires I have tried, these Terra Masters have been the best for me! This weekend I hope to get it all mounted up and tested out.

Those have been an impressive tire, they are 10 ply rated If I recall.

I’m considering the terra masters as replacement tires. Kinda leaning towards tusk aramid,,but those look great

That Kenati Terra Master ran the Baja 1000 a couple of years ago with no flats, no failures for 840 miles. Not sure how you rotate an asymetrical tread, though

I don't see that as a problem, the outside of the tire will remain on the outside, no matter which corner it's on.

I can't rotate on the Talon (different wheels F/R) but 2 fronts = 4 rears, I'm ok with that.

Just switch same side front and rear for these?

I thought a radial had to always travel in the same direction it started in.s

But, I may be wrong.

I didn't think a radial could switch sides, though.

I thought a radial had to always travel in the same direction it started in.s

But, I may be wrong.

You've got me reaching waaay back in my dusty memory banks re changing directions of a radial's rotation. I remember something about it but that was so long ago I wonder if it's still true since I haven't heard anything related for decades. I may very well be wrong tho, I did get married once so being wrong has happened. :eek:

I relearned something, now

Like you said... No directional notation on the tire indicates they can roll in either direction.

I called a friend with tire stores and is a distributor. He said when radial tires first came out, they were directional and after they "set", reversing them made braking wet conditions was dangerous and the tire could become structurally unstable.

But, modern design, materials and compounds and manufacturing processes allow you to rotate to either side run the tire in either direction, unless you see an arrow marking the necessary forward direction or travel.

Straight tracked very well and power felt the same as it did with the 30's. I actually dropped 1lbs per corner with these 33's setup compared to my old 30's setup. I was right around 71" wide and 14 3/4" ground clearance up front and 13 7/8" rear. The combo weighs in at 57.3 lbs. They closer to a big 32 than a true 33 in size.

The S3 Powersports Arched A-arms have been the highest quality I have experienced. They fit perfect and everything on them were actually perfect fit and finish!

I head to Tennessee at the end of February to put it all to the test. I expect it do great but we will see!

Did u notice much of a difference going from stock size up to the 33” tires?

I do notice the power loss from stock but not a difference from the M1 Evils but I didn't feel it is bad. The M1's are heavy and the Terra Masters are light! It rips through the trails and corners awesome still!!
