Talon rear drive line replacement

I’m trying to remove the rear drive line that goes to the rear differential. I unbolted the rear differential, it only slid back about an 1” and I can’t get the driveline off. I don’t want to take the axles off.

Can it be down with out removing the axles

I just need to replace a ripped boot

Did you take the boot off the driveshaft going into the diff?

They use stiff orings to seal the boot and sometimes they hang up.
